How to Order


Purchase Order(s) must be sent via: fax, email, mail or in-person. Verbal orders cannot be used to begin production. Confirmations are typically emailed to customers within 24-48 hours to verify the order has been received and is being processed. If, at the time of confirmation, all necessary information and instructions are not provided, your order may be delayed.

  1. If a silicone molded handle is ordered, the COLOR must be indicated either on the engineering print OR the actual PO. Silicone colors may be identified using the Pantone Matching System (PMS). Anodized aluminum colors are available in a variety of colors; however, it is not possible to exactly match a pantone color.
  2. If possible, your customer PART NUMBER, REVISION LEVEL, along with a brief product description should all be on the purchase order. If you don't have a customer part number, you may use a Gauthier Biomedical part number, along with a product description.
  3. Laser-etching instructions (example: lot number, part number, special markings such as logos) should be sent at the time of the purchase order. If you are sending artwork, please send files (jpeg, bitmap, EPS, tif, .dxf) as soon as possible to avoid any delays.
  4. In the event that a customer does not produce an approved or "released" engineering print, Gauthier Biomedical may provide a print for the customer to sign and return. No orders will be processed without the receipt of a signed drawing, no exceptions. If you are an existing customer who is re-ordering at the same Revision Level, please note that we may already have an approved print on file and therefore do not require another signed copy.
  5. If a torque limiting (or measuring) instrument is being ordered, a torque value must be indicated either on the PO or print.
