Account Coordinator

Summary:   Responsible for maintaining effective relationships with existing customers, developing and creating new customer relationships and assisting with marketing and branding of Company products to maximize sales opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:    

  • Demonstrates professional etiquette and courtesy when interfacing with customers; timely and effectively responds to calls and emails from customers to optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Develops and coordinates customer leads including researching and identifying OEM implant systems (new and existing) to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Utilizes Material Resource Planning software to create and publish customer open order reports.
  • Supports existing customers and develops new ones; prepares price quotes through the use of Gauthier price matrix, terms of sales and delivery dates; tracks and follows up on outstanding quotes with customers.
  • Monitors current orders to meet customer expectations; collaborates with engineers and operations to prioritize orders when necessary.
  • Resolves customer complaints, concerns or issues by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action.
  • Accurately maintains customer databases with account information.
  • Travels to customer sites on a regular basis.
  • Professionally represents the Company at industry trade shows, conferences and vendor fairs.
  • Assists with sending out direct mailings, instrument samples, brochures and sales literature.
  • Maintains a professional working relationship and effectively communicates with all employees, managers, vendors, customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Understands and complies with company policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and safety regulations.
  • Regular attendance at work is required.
  • Performs other assignments as necessary.

Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred; minimum of one year experience as an Account Coordinator or related position in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and problem solving abilities; able to proactively handle multiple projects simultaneously; strong attention to detail.
